Although Abplas has been in business for over 80 years we moved into our current premises 10 years ago.
It’s been a busy 10 years since we moved from our previous premises in Colliers Wood. A lot has happened in those years. We moved premises as we needed more space but we quickly began to fill it up! Shortly after we moved in we took delivery of a CNC machine. Then we purchased a laser machine and then, in more recent years, a Mimaki flatbed printer.
What have been the benefits of moving premises?
By moving not too far away from our original premises we have retained many of our previous customers. However, by moving to an industrial estate we initially were introduced to lots of new customers, many of whom we continue to work with today.
Having extra space has allowed us to invest in machinery and has also allowed us to work on bigger projects, producing larger items. The photos below are a few examples of some of the larger fabrication items we have produced since we’ve been at Willow Lane.
