Print direct to media

Printing directly onto plastic media to create a cross section of stunning solutions for commercial and non-commercial projects.

Using our in-house Mimaki flatbed UV printer, we can print directly onto plastic media to produce high quality printed designs on bespoke fabrications.

A more sustainable alternative to PVC vinyl (which is hard to recycle) and with a more premium finish (each logo and picture is borderless), printed plastics offer a bold, stunning statement for installation pieces.

Who we work for

Our bespoke print to media service is available for corporate and domestic clients, covering a range of industries. Our printer can take high-quality images from stock image sites such as Shutterstock and guarantee suitability for print.

We are approved PERSPEX® fabricators with access to the full collection of PERSPEX® colours and products to help bring your project to life.

Example projects

We use our printer for a variety of customers and industries, fabricating and printing signs, cubes, merchandising stands, event units, screens and wall cladding. Many of our projects also require us to fit LEDs, such as for a ‘business’ sign.

Bespoke kitchen splashbacks, shower, and bath panels are a striking example of how printed images can be used in one solid colour or as a picture to create a feature wall, adapted with holes for plug sockets and wiring.

Printed acrylic panels

In the past year or so, we have noticed a greater demand for custom-made printed panels. Our customers no longer wish to have off-the-shelf design solutions but prefer to have exact colour matches or printed images and graphics to match their design brief. Our customers just need to provide us with the exact measurements of the panel they require and a high-quality image, and we will be able to fulfil their brief.

Finished artwork or graphics can be printed directly onto many different types of media. Our printer prints CMYK with white ink for coloured substrates and a clear gloss top varnish if desired. Please be aware that all RGB files will be converted to CMYK format, which has a reduced colour gamut. We will happily run a small test print to ensure our clients know exactly what they will end up with.
